Originally, it was police and militaries that began using certain devices to jam all the communication waves in certain area to preclude opponents from applying communication gadgets. The principle of jamming the radio wave is rather simple. Jamming device transmits radio signals of certain frequencies and in such way it generates enough interruption to make communication equipment unusable. But with the time the demand for such devices among civilians increased greatly and manufacturers decided to start selling those disruptors to civilians. Nowadays such blockers, also known as jammers, are very popular and have lots of usages. The range of jammers is truly great thats why you can easily select the right type of jammer to jam any radio signal you like. The most commonly used jammers are the ones that disable GSM, GPS and Wi-Fi bands.
The attitude to such type of devices varies greatly in different countries. In many countries its even illegal to buy a cell phone jammer of any type. Nonetheless blockers are highly in demand among ordinary citizens. Especially interrupters are greatly in demand in big cities and megacities.
Despite the illegality, blockers stay popular because they can be used in lots of cases such as:
1. To block mobile phones in play-houses, movies and other places
2. To interrupt cell phones in medical institutions
3. To secure convention spaces from industrial espionage activity
4. To secure workplaces from spying equipments
5. To achieve absolute informational security
6. To preclude spies from spying on you and tracking your location
7. To preclude detonation of certain kinds of bombs

9. To preclude fakements of voting process during certain elections
10. To shield militaries from homing missiles
11. To help police in struggling against the bandits
But still, few disadvantages of disruptors can also be names. For example, jammers:
1. Can and will be used during carjacking
2. Are used by criminals in various ways
3. Infringe the rights of mobile network corporations
4. Make impossible to call 911
