For the 2009 NFL Draft, Paul Kruger is measured as a top defensive end. On the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft, Kruger was outlined by the Baltimore Ravens.
In 2008, after the all-conference sophomore season, his final two years in college was to forgo entering the 2009 NFL Draft. In 2004, he was a quarterback with University of Utah Utes. On the Fiesta Bowl champion team, Kruger was a redshirt on the 12-0.
In the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens last April 25, 2009, Kruger was selected on the second round and he was the 57th overall pick.
In a game with the Pittsburgh Steelers last November 29, 2009, in overtime, Paul Kruger stopped a Dennis Dixon pass. With this, he was able to set the Ravens up for a game-winning 29 yard field goal made by kicker Billy Cundiff.
